Matt Harrison

Matt grew up with musicians and music lovers in his family and was exposed to a variety of musical genres at a young age. His love for music led Matt to the piano, then he served as his High School first chair trumpet in marching and symphonic band. Meanwhile, Matt learned guitar and stringed instruments as a teenager with his Grandfather and his old Mel Bay lesson book. Matt’s sound is acoustic folk/bluegrass/country/rock/jazz.

His music is a reflection of his life experiences and emotions. Matt is constantly experimenting with different chord progressions and melodies, letting his intuition guide him when it comes to songwriting and performing. Matt believes that the best music comes from the heart.
