Farm to Fest Culinary Stage

Located in Centre Square across from Merch tent

Saturday 

11 a.m. Cheek to Cheek Challenge 

Chef Matthew Feeser, of Breakaway Farms, vs. Chef Ryan Lukow, of Savory Grille. These chefs will compete in this culinary contest showcasing the whole hog. But there’s a twist! Audience members will be throwing darts to determine which piggy parts the chefs use! Hit the ‘bacon bull’s eye’ and you’ll get to sample their piggylicious creations! Have some fun while also learning about snout to tail cooking. 

2 p.m. All Shook Up: The Bacon, Banana and Peanut Butter Sandwich Showdown

Presented by the Highmark Farmstand

Nobody loved a good Bacon, Banana and Peanut Butter Sandwich better than The King himself! Don’t miss this wild and crazy Sandwich Showdown with Chef Bill ‘Billyum’ Poplawski, of State Cafe and Grill, and Chef Ada Chandler. Guests will enjoy an Elvis impersonator and lots of rockin’ tunes. Selfies with Elvis, Elvis Trivia, and great prizes for the audience including jars of Cape May Peanut Butter Co. peanut butter. Plus three lucky audience members will be selected to serve as judges!

11 a.m. The Big Ten: 10 Sizzling Bacon-Wrapped Tailgating Snacks 

Hey sport fans, watch Chef Matthew Feeser, of Breakaway Farms, and Chef Ada Chandler show you how to score big at your next game day party and bring home a tasty win! Two audience members will receive the opportunity to serve as sous chefs. And the audience will get to cheer on their favorite team and vote for the best tailgating lineup! Fun football trivia and great audience giveaways too. 

2 p.m. Bacon Battle

Presented by Easton Farmers’ Market 

Three premier Lehigh Valley chefs will display their culinary chops in the Bacon Battle. Chef Brad Shive, Grille 3501 (defending champion); Shawn Doyle CEC, Savory Grille; Chef Tyler Baxter, Culinary Arts Instructor at NCC, will vie for the 2021 Baconator title. Cheer them on as they cook their way through a mystery bag of challenging ingredients from the Easton Farmers’ Market – including a pound of pasture-raised bacon from Breakaway Farms. There will be culinary trivia and prizes for the audience, and one lucky audience member will be selected to serve as a guest judge!
